Jaclyn Gorman is a mom and wife living in the Denver area. With a toddler and infant at home and a full-time job as a mental health therapist, Jaclyn fully understands the challenges parenting in the early years. With 10 years of experience as a Special Educator in urban public schools, she has spent countless hours teaching school-aged children life skills, emotional-regulation techniques, and study skills.
Jaclyn brings all of her experiences and knowledge, personal and professional, to her work at Spare the Rod Parenting to provide you with a one stop shop for practical resources that can be reasonably implemented without going through hours of training and classes.
Jaclyn is a nationally certified counselor, licensed Special Educator, and certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator. She has Master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (University of Northern Colorado) and Curriculum and Instruction (University of Colorado-Denver).
